About us

Cedar Lodge Garden Rooms is a family business and is run by Jonathan James Clift along with his sons Sam and Alex and his wife Karen.
 

Jonathan studied amenity horticulture and landcaping at Sparsholt Horticultural College Winchester, his first position was as a gardener in charge at Cowdray Estate in West Sussex, in 1994 he was offered the position of Head Gardener for the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi in London, in 1998 he was offered the position of Head Gardener for Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber in Hampshire, in 2002 he was offered the position of Head Gardener/Estate Manager at South Lodge Exclusive Country Hotel in West Sussex, in 2007 Jonathan created a successful garden design and landscaping company in West Sussex, in 2012 and after moving back home to Hayling Island with his family, Jonathan stepped in to run the family business designing and installing luxury bathrooms and Kitchens. In 2020 Jonathan created Cedar Lodge Garden Rooms.
 

with over 35 years of experience in the landscape design and construction industry, Jonathan has the necessary experience to lead Cedar Lodge Garden Rooms into the future.
 

Jonathan is a perfectionist, throughout his career he has excelled at every level, with his talented Sons and supportive wife, Cedar Lodge Garden Rooms has become the top bespoke garden room installer in the area.
